Michael Muhney was the best Adam Newman. He was devious, brilliant, sexy, and truly loved his son, Connor, and Chelsey. I have waited years for his return...Y&R..please don't disappoint those of us who love this guy! He is Adam!!!

I would watch the soap again if he returned. I watched Y&R from first episode until Adam was replaced with Justin Hartley. I watched him for a month. Imo he was not Adam Newman.

Bring back Michael. HE IS Adam Newman and always will be. He is THE ONLY Newman that could ever attempt to fill Eric Braeden shoes. I hope Eric NEVER leaves cause he is why I watch Y and R. Michael as Adam has the devious demeanor that envelops the character of Adam. HE SHOULD BE YOUR ONLY CHOICE, regardless of why he originally left the show.

Justin is a good actor but as Adam he didn't portray the evilness that Muhney executed. Muhney was cunning just like Victor, that's why he is the better choice. Eric B is slowing down and will eventually retire, so bring back the actor and can handle the job. As for the girl, she isn't on the show any longer. Besides I couldn't stand her acting, she whined too much and I'm glad she's gone.

It would give an option for a totally different storyline... One that could say that Adam (Michael) hired Justin-Adam to take his place, or that Justin-Adam was an opportunist who merely took advantage of the situation when Michael-Adam was in the accident. Either way it will be a good view.Hope you can work it out

It seems to me you are just playing with the fans of the show. One day is it Michael, the next it is someone else. He was never arrested for anything so how can you justify firing him over one stupid lie from a nobody. Looks like you just don't want him back but the fans do. You can't justify your writing anymore, no one believes anything you say. Lies, lies and more lies from you. Guesswork. Don't be giving the fans any more of your crappy thoughts just to keep us reading. We are people you know, and we know what we like and how the show goes now just sucks. Bedhopping all around is about all we see. Can't you write anymore? Sure looks like you can't, all a bunch of daydreaming, and you can't make up your minds.

In my opinion, as a lifelong fan of Y&R since it began, I think Michael Muhney was one of the best actors who has been on the show. If the character of Adam is to be resurrected then I think that Muhney is the best choice for the role - bar none! When he left I really didn't think anybody else could play the role but I have to admit that Justin Hartley did a good job. He was sexy and strong but could never quite fill Muhneys shoes. Muhney had a certain quality of displaying subtle vulnerabilities as the Adam character which Hartley could never quite master. For these reasons I think that the character of Adam Newman would best be served by the return of Michael Muhney irregardless of whomever else is available. I don't know why he was fired so I don't know if he warrants another chance; I just know that he played the part impeccably and his talents were appreciated.
