Grade the 'Once Upon a Time' Season 6 finale:

We've been watching from the very beginning, through one convoluted plot after another (some of which contradicted past "facts"), and both my husband and I loved the way all the loose ends were tied up and the characters received their new beginnings. As the series has evolved over the past 6 years, we've fought back disappointment many times, and considered whether we still cared enough to watch to the very end, and the season 6 finale felt like a proper end-- not a pivot point leading in an entirely new direction. We were both underwhelmed by the twist at the end. With so many main characters leaving the show, but 3 remaining, whose presence appears to undo the happy endings/beginnings in the montage, this feels like a good place for us to stop watching. I may possibly watch an episode or two this fall, but it seems unlikely that I'll continue past that. I despise when writers appear to enjoy seeing just how far they can push the envelope before their loyal audience says "enough already!" I think I'm one such audience member who's past the point of caring where they take the series in the future. They should have just quit while they were ahead. They wrote the perfect ending, and then screwed it up in the final minute!

The part of Emma having a hard time believing reminded me of the Never Ending Story...the nothing. Erasing all stories of fantasy you must grow up and leave childish stories behind.

Still can't believe nor understand why they punished Regina and oncers by killing Robin. There were so many ways to push him away in order to make her grow without killing him (and that perfect star-crossed soulmates story).
