Zero tolerance policies in schools

Like the death policy, I would be in favor of zero tolerance policies in schools if it was guaranteed that the student being punished was the right student and that the system wasn't inherently biased against the poor, undereducated, and PoC. Zero tolerance policies at schools also fail to take into account the circumstances. For example, your school may have a zero tolerance against fighting but what lead up to the fight? Maybe the kid getting mollywopped on was whispering death threats or passing around naked pictures of that kid's mama on his phone. You just don't know.
