I am quite comfortable thank you, my gross income is £20000 or just under. At 81 years young, I would happily pay a little more tax towards my older generation companions sickness and care allowance. After all most of them came through the second world war, even if they did not fight in it. I was a baby 3 when it started, but eternally grateful to ALL those who did fight and came through to the end. I still remember the Victory celebration we had in the street party on the day.

ref stuart- same as brexit vote, people voted for themselves and not the good of the country. A humanitarium reply would be good," apparently we're all in this together ".

I would much prefer raising the annual Capital Gains Tax threshold to £100000,now that is a political party I could vote for.
