It's mainly because Democrats have control of our education system and media and are pushing the "global citizen" propaganda and the schools no longer teach American history and don't even teach the Constitution. But then socialists like to keep their citizens dumb and uneducated.

I raised my girls to be hard working helpful ect. They watched me be a ER nurse that worked nights for years. They turned 20. And boom they have a socialist mindset, I sent the article about Columbia University's illegal immigrants demands and my daughter rants about how the college is responsible for them ect ect. So I ask her " who pay for this" she rambles on with an answer, I asked her again "who pays for it" still no answer. So I explained to her if she when to that college it her tuition that will go up every semester effecting her ability to even to finish college never mind graduate. Crickets.

I believed the root is multifacete, the actual ability to communicate has been negatively impacted with use of computers and cellphones. The gamers llive in a world void of real personal interaction. I find full communication with body language and facial expression is crucial to convey true meaning and intent. They (many) simply do not and cannot handle two way full communication / conversations. The one dimensional conversation without emotion. Then our indoctrination with lack of encouraging independent critical thinkers - our educational processes have stifled independent thinking. I believe the world to many is the us against them...picking a side and rolling with.it in this political arena - If you support Trump you are automatically them - no real investigation, follow the pack. As over 60 I was never interested in political world believing it was all who could convince they held the solution or plan w/o abilities simply talk (lies). This cycle I chose to dive into with strong feelings regarding vaccines, freedom of speech, right to bare arms on and on. Our freedoms of Constituition, Nuremberg Code, Geneva Convention and simple human / civil rights were being attacked and taken away piece by piece with legislation. NWO scares the holy crap out of me - globalism, socialism and the like not acceptaable! The catch phrase MAGA summed up for me what needed to occur for USA to again thrive as world leaders for freedom. We the people needed to be revived to participate. I long for cooperative participation w/shared goals through communication, negotiation and compromise - many are incapable of participating in any of these three meaningfully.

I said, YES because they just don't care about anyone or anything but themselves. Everything has been given to them so the don't know how to work to get what they need and want. And our government is showing them if you keep screaming the loudest people will give in and give what you want. Sad times, sad sad times

I have to quantify my yes vote. I realize that every generation says that the next generation is going to 'hell in a handbasket.' However, this is the first generation where I'm surprised to find an intelligent, well-mannered, respectful young adult.
I've been hiring and training typographers from 1978 through 1992 in NYC until my industry imploded. Now, I manage a small gas station in NJ on the border of NY (3-4 attendants). I hear and see the same story: very few young people who want to work, have responsibility, respect, etc.
