Should Massachusetts offer tuition-free public college for all state residents?

Why does it have to be Boston? Why can't something help Springfield? No Governor has ever done a thing for this end of the state. It's sickening, they take our money and give us nothing. Have a pilot program here first.

Any person accepted for waived tuition should prove to be a LEGAL citizen first and agree to a background check. People work too hard for money to be abused. I'm sick of seeing welfare recipients with their nails done, gold chains, filled grocery carts with steaks & cigarettes. Then they go cry "low-income"! I would love to go back to school, but I can't afford it. Criminals, illegal aliens and refugees get treated better than legal citizens and veterans. It's sickening!!!! I just heard of drugs mixed with children at Pheasant Hill Village in Feeding Hills. That is child endangerment! Seniors live there and I hear the complaints as a Home Health Aide.
