Are you disappointed in the president for tweeting about Comey this morning?

I'm going to say this again...sometimes less is more. The whole world knows Comey screwed up....the President doesn't need to always have the last word.

After all that Donald Trump has been through for the past 9+ mos....he showed decent restraint! He needs to think through his tweets, but keep tweeting!!

Here Comey testified about MSM making up things in the news, and 1st thing this am they were all slanting it to appear that Pres Trump was still under investigation!!

The comment was not out of line. Let's not start trying to find problems where their aren't any like Dems and MSM

He will be known as LEAKER Comey for all of history......I'd much rather have a name caller as president than a Muslim ISIS supporter, a rapist or an alleged murderer!!

This mornings tweets appeared somewhat restrained. POTUS avoided rubbing anyone's nose in the muck except reminding us Comey identified a leaker. Let's not forget the long history Comey has with the Clinton's as a fixer. Given Comey's legal experience Judge Napolitano seemed surprised the former FBI Director forgot whom he served, POTUS and the American people. Yesterday was just the pinnacle of political theatrics. Time to drop the curtain and prosecute him and Loretta Lynch for obstruction of justice m!

I see this particular tweet as an example of President Trump sense of humor no more no less. So I have to tell you it made me laugh

I just watched George Stephanoupolos interview former Trump campaign and it was beautiful! Since President Trump did not tweet yesterday they had nothing to build a false narrative. Stephanopoulos tried to run with "the President will now undoubtedly be under investigation and Lewandowski shut him down with "highly unlikely!". Matt Dowd pundit on GMA then stated "President's vindicated tweet this AM is claiming he won. Last time anyone wine was the recipient of Oscar for La La land!" That's quite a leap in my opinion. They are grasping at straws!

I'm so proud of my President not tweeting yesterday, having his personal attorney react to results of Comey hearing and moving on to his meeting with the Evangelicals as scheduled! Very Presidential and demonstrating he's moving forward with his goals!

President Trump has showed us himself unfiltered like no other president in the past. He is what he is, and nothing anyone says will change him. He doesn’t fit into the “POTUS” mold that everyone is trying to get him to conform to now. He is an outsider business politician and a quick learner and has done more to put “America First” than any other president in the past. He questions expenses that puts the US in jeopardy and doesn’t care if he ruffles a few feathers in the process. God Bless you Mr. President!

DML, How 'bout a poll about suggesting what's the next most important thing to DO, Mr. President. I know we just voted on the category of priorities. Yet, I like what the second part of Shirley's comment just said, "NOW! DOWN TO BUSINESS!" And be looking right at Paul Ryan's and Mitch O'Connell's governing bodies! Mush those troops, Mr. President! And GREAT letter to the President! Could 'a only been better had he lobbed a few over the wall to the south!

STOP criticizing President Trump for tweeting! Tweeting is the only weapon he has to get his message out verbatim. No matter what he says the media will change it to their liking. With our media as it is today and their hate of Trump...let the man tweet and get HIS message across.

I'm so proud of my president's self control yesterday that I don't mind him jabbing today.

I wish he would stop tweeting all together! The most unpresidential action ever! He likes to stir things up! That's not good. Do what you know to be right and don't listen to what gets under your skin! MAGA

Sometimes saying nothing says more. The issues of the country need his full attention. He should give a once a month progress report. He still has trouble maker's in the WH to uncover and get out.

  • Elizabeth - 7 years ago

He could have said something like, "now let's get that travel ban passed, etc. ". It doesn't bother me that he tweets. He tweets the truth and shows us how he feels. No other president has done that. He's doing a good job too.

i am disappointed he tweeted this out take his twitter account away please

I support DML and understand why they keep saying Trump should stop tweeting. I am not so much against the tweeting but more against what he tweets. Trump could have said something more on the lines of, now that the investigation is over we can put this behind us and continue doing great things for America. And stop there. I would have respected him more. I am a Trump supporter and I think he is doing a great job.

His tweet wasn't bad, just the truth and can you imagine how MSM would have twisted it had he stayed silent? "Trump's not tweeting, wonder why? Must be a deal with ....... blah, blah, blah".

  • Shirley Blanchard - 7 years ago

Shouldn't have tooted his horn. He could've tweeted something like, "Ok, let's get down to business!".

  • Pat Stephen - 7 years ago

I guess Trump just won't change. Does he want that negative attention? Sometimes I wonder if he is doing this all on purpose so he doesn't get elected in 2020. I just can't understand when so many people want him to stop and he keeps doing the same over and over again. I have some questions on his motives at this point??? Frustrated with him. It was great that his son twitted but the President needs to STOP.

  • Eustacia - 7 years ago

He has his base making this point. His attorney made this point. There was no need for him to comment further. It just comes across as looking petty and that is not what you want from the POTUS. Note I'm saying this as a big Trump supporter. I am with you 100 percent on the damage these tweets are doing DML.

  • David Howell - 7 years ago

DML. You be you. Let President Trump be President Trump. Stop trying to tell him what to do. It reflects poorly on you. I am a DML fan.
