Would you like Massachusetts to become a "sanctuary state" for undocumented immigrants?

Apparently there has been no thought process as to the the effects of making Massachusetts a sanctuary state for undocumented immigrants. I believe we are ALREADY a sanctuary state for them and have been for years. The legislators apparently do not watch the news to see what is already going on over in Europe. It is appalling to me that there would even be a hearing in this regard. Have the powers that be in this state become so brain dead that they cannot see the ramifications that this would bring about? Once we start taking in all these undocumented immigrants, who is going to police all the problems that will ensue. Do the legislators think, for one minute, that these people will not bring all the problems with them that they are fleeing from? I think we are headed for dark times if Massachusetts becomes a sanctuary state. I hope this does NOT happen.

Why are our politicians, who have sworn to protect and defend the constitution seem HELL BENT on destroying our nation as well as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts ? Yet the low information voter gleefully endorses this destruction.

Unfortunately, this kind of poll won't be taken into consideration by our elected officials who seem bent on protecting everyone but the LEGAL citizens of this state and those who pay their salary to represent ALL of the legal citizens, not just those who are able to show up at the statehouse. If I weren't so old I would leave this state in a heartbeat over this and I have never felt this way before. ILLEGAL is the key word.

It is not the lawmakers job to break the law. Becoming a sanctuary city will take much-needed funds from our state and allow criminals to hide out in Massachusetts. Illegal aliens are lawbreakers. I love when somebody says that illegal aliens are law abiding citizens. If they are here illegally, they are criminals.

We should all be able to vote on this.
