Nina has had it hard, but she tends to hold onto things that are not really hers. Valentine came into her life with his own issues, he thought that Alex was Anna and Alex used him for her own goals. Anna really had feelings (or started) to and she was taken away before Valentine and Anna could really see what happened. I say give them a chance to see what happens, they were not given that chance.
