Did Jordan push off?

It's pretty obvious to anyone who watched the clips from every perspective that he didn't push off. Emily Saylor is either an idiot or a Jazz fan.

I can watch that clip over a million times and I will forever say no way! He was protecting his dribble and he just brought his left hand close to him and just happened to touch Russell but the crossover was so good and unexpected for Russell if he really pushed him he would have pushed him down.

Good article. As the video shows it was not a push off. But I do need to add the Michael was the 1998 MVP, that year's MVP. Malone was the 1997 MVP, the season before. Also what wizards stuff are you referring to? Everyone knows that was his final game, and what a perfect way to end his career.

Totally agree about the steal being overshadowed! What's also overshadowed for Jazz fans is losing game 3 by 42 points.

I like a quote from Jeff Hornacek about the shot that even if it was a push off, it wasn't a foul.
People act like Michael threw Russell down. Nobody on the court, the Jazz staff, fans, complained about the play when it happened. Only Isiah Thomas on the replay brought it up. Just after the Bulls win and for 19 years after they complain..

He damn well pushed off if Kerr or Paxon and the push off he would have the same as the goat LBJ

Jordan got away with pushing Russell off in plain sight those refs were bought off

Jordan was being hand checked with more than minimal contact by Russell so the nudge by Jordan equalized the contact.
