We need to stop helping the immigrants especially the illegal immigrants with Medicaid and Medicare and Disability as well as Foodstamps. Their are individual in America who truly need assistance from one of the medical help and have to fight hard. For example I've worked my whole life and my health conditions have gotten worse and worse to the point they are life threatening now. I've done all I can to prevent these illnesses but you can't stop when your having 20 seizures in a row and slip into a comma and it took a ton of test to figure out why. It was a lack of oxygen all this to tell you it took me 7 yrs to get assistance and instead of putting Americans first they put immigrants first what happen to taking care of Americans first??????

i dont really understand why these democrats are against protecting america anymore, what is there objective i thought they were in office to help the american people first, in the end it would help them get reelected and make our country a safer place to live. but back to the poll i said yes and to all people in americans able to work healthcare would benefit jobs economy.

The US has too many free loaders RIGHT now and we are currently unsustainable. It's many different people and many are illegals, fake refugees, immigrants, migrants, vagrants, Americans born and breed in welfare, and plain lazy folks. All these groups need removed from assistance. The only people that should get assistance are handicap and elderly that can't work because their body and mind can't work This welfare needs reigned in and looked at completely. Way too much abuse. People claiming to not receive welfare, are still getting it through free public school, books, extra daily tutors, free breakfast lunch and dinner, expensive summer school programs, bilingual programs, English as a second language programs, Summer migrant programs, and this is Billions of US tax payers money used. They will call it federal grants that the states have to use. People do not know all the avenues of welfare. The refugees are given applications to sign up as soon as they arrive and Medicaid application. If someone is allowed to come here they should only get assistance by a sponsor and then they have to prove their sustainability on their own. No School freebies. The public school system is a welfare wasteland and the education side is suffering too. People receiving food stamps are then getting free food breakfast lunch and dinner at school's. Double dipping through different programs. They whole school system in my area does this. It's free for all! Food is wasted and thrown in the trash because they only like certain things. Sick waste.

When an immigrant comes in, they should have a plan, purpose, and be willing to assimilate, no incentives...times have changed! Think of it as leaving home and going out on your own. BTW, what would other countries offer if I wanted to become a citizen of their country?

The courts seem to be able to flaunt our laws and President Trump's efforts to lessen immigration. Therefore we must have rational rules, that by the way almost all other countries have. To stem the flood of of immigrants they must show they can support themselves, and I would add other conditions as well.

I am an immigrant. Earned citizenship of U.S.A. The only help the government gave our family was necessary staples. It was a tough journey, but I thank God for His Blessings in all we accomplished in our journey. I am sad at what our Country has become. I pray that we unite and make it great again.

I am so fed up with all the freebies to those that don't want to make their own way in this country!!! I am pe-ode, tired, and always broke,, having to decide what I must do without each month so I can pay my bills!! Nothing free for me. Not even time to tack a vacation while I see MANY taking cruises, vacations while on n Medicaid, welfare,, and food stamps! HAD ENOUGH!!????

That's the way it was when my parents immigrated here in the early sixties , back then you had to have a sponsor here and that sponsor was responsible for you for five years . I'm proud to say that no one in my family ever used welfare or any kind of assistance.... my parents worked hard for everything they had . So yes we should go back to the old rules , work hard and assimilate to the American ways .

Our immigration needs to be strict in enforcing that to immigrate here you have to CONTRIBUTE to the USA not TAKE from us!

I can't move to another country with no way to sustain myself...why should others be able to move here without being able to do so? Why do you think everyone who said they were moving to Canada if Trump won the election are still here? ????????
