I live in Lake Forest, CA and the normal spots where I used to see them I don't anymore. I see only a few.

I live in an area that is predominantly illegal and Washington Heights (NY) is just a hop away by a couple of train stops. Drug dealing by the illegals still in full force in the corners and even in the bodegas. There has been zero changes in the 5 boros especially the Bronx and Manhattan.

I voted no, because I live in Southern California and we are wall to wall with Illegals here, so it would be hard to tell if one or ten of them are new. I am in a nice neighborhood with homes that are occupied by owners, but in the surrounding areas, we have apartments, old motels and some run down old hotels, that have been turned into rooms for Illegals and Muslims....this is near Disney Land where I do believe Anaheim and Garden Grove have declared themselves Sanctuary City's......I am 82, and a native, grew up here on the beach and it is so sad to see this happen to my home State.....

My answer was no ..........there are not any immigrants in my area

I answered no, I live in the West End of the Pocono Mountains, we have not seen any immigrants move here, it's a very small area with no jobs, most folks drive a 1/2 hour to an hour to work, the others catch commuter busses to NY or NJ for work

No, because we live in very small town. No jobs. Mostly retired military. Very heavy in military activities. And other retired people. Biggest store is Walmart. We drink and smoke and Are very patriotic.

NO was my vote, I've lived in Florida my entire life, (22,265 days) and once we surrendered So Florida to the Cuban refugees, its been pretty much just migrants here, and none come with a stamp saying illegal. It's just a matter of time however unless something in DC is done to stop the flow!

I answered no but not sure exactly how I would know if they are illegal. We have had many different nationalities move into the neighborhood but not sure if they are here legally or not.

I voted no. My main residence is in a small town in FL in orange country. In the winter we have tons of migrant workers but they work for large corporations that supervise them closely. On the weekends you see them at Walmart, which is right across the street from me. They are brought there in buses to do their weekly shopping. Sometimes there are six or seven buses. These young men are hard workers, well behaved, and shop in groups of 4-6 which I assume are roommates. During these times you also see them standing in long lines to send money home. That is the biggest issue I have with them, but I do know that they are sent home after the season so I don't feel they are a problem. While they are there working, if one of them strays, they are sent home and not allowed to work for that company again. As far as taking jobs from Americans, that is always an issue, but I've heard no complaints from the locals. Picking oranges is very hard, hands-on labor and the heat is often very bad. We do have a large permanent population of Mexicans but they all seem to work hard at regular jobs and they are bilingual.

No, there is an 4 family flat across the sreet from me and each flat has 4 plus men. They're all Mexicans and there are new people coming and going AND the only thing that has been moved out has been mattress, everything else stays for the new group of men. Have reported at least 3 times and nothing happens and this has been going on for 4 or 5 years now.

Can't answer poll with the intended direction of question.
I'd say YES but not because if less but because of more! Plus the amount of non-english speaking workers I have encountered lately gas increased.

  • Jeffrey Quibell - 7 years ago

    We don't have any

  • Kenneth Lanford - 7 years ago

No! It's like they are only trying to deter the ones not yet here while giving the one already here a pass!

  • Kat - 7 years ago

Haven't seen the drop, south of Houston

  • Dawn McDonald - 7 years ago

I was actually going to say yes, but not because i see less! Where i live it was actually rare.
In the last month i have been seeing way more than i ever did here. I live in south east Michigan its pretty rule here, but i am 30 minutes north of Toledo OH and 45 minutes south of Detroit. We were just noticing this the other day and figuring they are getting out of the City to avoid being stopped.

I voted no I live in a small northern town and have a small season of any kind of migrant workers. They come do their job and then go.
I at one time lived where there had been a high seasonal time of migrant workers small town when migrant workers came alot of drunkenness and fighting with stabbings for2/3 weeks no intermingling.
Lived in AR when Cuban refugees came to and put in a camp there they tried entertainment food medical but many needed mental health, customs they were use to doing for themselves were illegal here took many years for that to get settled, it was not an easy time for police residents or the refugees.
All I know is the longer someone is enabled the worse it gets.
Potus is trying but how do you get the states and citizens to legally work with him as they roadblock the avenues?

  • Dea Clawson - 7 years ago

I voted no because I live in a small town and don't see them standing in areas to be picked up for work. The ones I see are going into Wal Mart shopping and I really try and ignore them. If you make eye contact they wil start smiling at you and babbling in Spanish or Mexican or whatever! My daughter knows a little of the language and she was very upset about what was said to us both one day. So I don't think the number has significantly decreased . It still looks like about the same.

We also live in a small town in Texas. We have not seen any obvious changes. I would think that it would be more noticeable in a larger town.

  • Martha Brannon - 7 years ago

It would have been fun to see this by region in the US. Where are the yes's comimg from?? Love what you do!!

  • Michael Callan - 7 years ago

No, but where i live its not glaringly obvious who the illegals are, its a small town. When Dennis talks about lines of illegals outside a home depot, we dont really see that kind of stuff here, so its hard to tell who is illegal and who is not.
