I say yes. However it's hard to determine if the planning an attack is real or a rumor. If we wait until it happens to strike then we miss saving innocent lives. If we strike and find out that it was a rumor, then we are the bad guys. Tough call for us as uninformed citizens to make.

If we are going to threaten action, we must follow through.

If the intel is solid and our people on the ground know it, by all means, yes this is extreme for torcher and the world leaders must know we won't stand for it.

I agree with Lippits! But if not a setup, AJ is correct in that the UN needs to do there job, we will do our part with the UN.

Your exactly right Lippits.
Someone in the Intel is giving bad info to cover victory NEWS like the supreme court win! Syria is fighting Isis harder than anyone and it's absurd to believe they gas their own people just for the heck of it in spare time. Wake up

Since I have grandsons in the military, I really don't want a war with anyone. But, this can't be left to continue. Having lived through the war in Vietnam, this situation scares me to no end.

Actual proof they are making or have made one that they have broken an agreement and you know they will use on innocent people

It's a setup. ISIS and the rebels are the ones using chemical weapons and blaming it on Assad. With Assad and the Syrian government overthrown there will nothing left to protect the Christians or prevent ISIS from taking control. We should have learned from the Arab Spring - every time we remove a dictator ISIS fills in the gaps.
