I’m an old fan of GH, since it started. I always loved SB as Jason & was disappointed that he chose to leave saying needed time with family & then hopped right into new soap. When Billy took over the part I didn’t know if he could play Jason, he made it an even better Jason. One that shows emotion. Steve really didn’t do much acting, just short lines. Billy made the character come alive. I hope they keep Billy on as Jason so I can continue watching what has always been my favorite soap. If Steve adapted to new role on YR than he should be able to on GH. Fans would just have to get used to him as someone else. He chose to leave now he’s gonna push out the new Jadon. Not fair to Billy. We have watched old characters come back as new ones thinking of old Carly now. No one kicked Laura out to let old character back on her spot. Fans adapted & will again if SB becomes someone new. Hopefully producers make right decision. Otherwise I think they will lose lot of viewers.

I LOVE Billy Miller...he is a great actor. I am not a fan of Steve Burton and wasn't happy that he was coming back. However, now that he is, I am 100% hoping that HE is the real Jason Morgan. He has won me over. Now, they BOTH (as well as Sam) need to stop being so nasty to Franco. And give him back his damn picture.

Huge Fan Of The Show. I'm 43 years old, I've been watching the show since I was 16 years old. So I've seen both actors on G.H. I Love them both. I Liked Steve Burton Way Better On Y & R. I Love The Chemistry So Much More Between Billy & Sam. Please Don't Rip This Family Apart. They Are The Best Couple On The Show. I Watch Every Day Because Of Billy And Sam, Together. Sorry but I’ve been watching GH for 20+ years. I loved Steve Burton BUT he left and Billy Miller stepped up and has made Jason’s character great. No he’s not stone cold and Sonny’s beck and call boy BUT guess what who cares. If Steve Burton wanted to be Jason he should have never left/gave up this roll. So for all you say that the Billy Miller fans are not life long GH watchers. YOU ARE WRONG. I was pissed when he SB quite, swore I’d never watch again, but I did and I LOVE BILLY MILLER AS JASON. He’s wonder with Sam. We all have our opinions and have the right to them. I just think GH will make a huge mistake if this isn’t played out right.

You people who are voting for Billy must not have watched Steve for that long, because it is no contest. It's obvious this writer hasn't from the mere fact that she thinks Steve started in 1999 and not 1991. Steve is Jason and the best Jason. There is no way anybody can play Jason better than the man who created the role. Those who like Billy more obviously just want a new character all together, because the part he's playing is not the Jason we know. The writers might as well have created a new character from the start. He doesn't have the same chemistry with Sonny, Carly, Sam, Elizabeth or any of his old friends and family. He doesn't have Jason's toughness but at the same time good heart. All Billy is doing is playing a new character altogether just named Jason Morgan. So keep him, but change his name. I won't be watching the show if Steve isn't playing the Jason we know, the best friend of Sonny and Carly and the second father to Michael. Billy might be a great actor, but nobody can play the role better than the person who created and played the role for two decades. You can't do a Sarah Brown where you bring him back as a different character. She might have originated the role of Carly but she only played it for five years and by the time she returned 13 years later multiple actresses had played the role so it wasn't hard to see her as someone different. Steve has only been gone 5 years. He played Jason for 21 years and Billy has only been done it for 3. So you expect to put a guy who's played the part of Jason for 21 years vs. a guy who played it for 3 years and you expect us to really be able to believe the 3 year guy is the real Jason? That's a joke to long time fans. It was much easier with Laura Wright who had been Carly for 9 years by the time the original 5 year Carly returned. Give Steve his role back. If you can do it for Jonathan Jackson who didn't put in nearly the years as Lucky as Steve did for Jason, then you can do it for Steve.

GH fans and writers we have to go with what is believeable and what make sense. There is no doubt that SB can play a different character because he is the truthful Jason Morgan, no one can change that unless you will be disregarding the history of the main character. Billy Miller play JM based on the script the writers give him, how they want him to portray Jason. If the writers wanted BM to portray a Stone Cold Jason he would have, we have seen it with the fight with Nicholas. What i am suggesting is to have the two actors BM act the imposter that was brainwashed by Helena, which can turn out to be SB twin bother. Remember Franco denounce that he is not related to Jason. The real Jason (SB) can start by appearing into Sam mind, since she is hallucinating, then eventually you will see SB remain captive by Helena men. He will escape and fight for sam and is place has JM. The two Jason- BM will have to find his true identity and fight for Sam. The beloved Jason SB will be welcomed by everyone. Except for Sam will be in a difficult and confused situation to choose because she love both, but based on how she wanted Jason to stop working for Sonny she will end up choosen BM. Based on Sam coice SB will take over Sonny territory. Once again Carly Sonny Liz, Franco Monica Michael will be affected by this and it will create an better story line for everyone. There is not much you can do with BM remaining Jason. unless SB will only be there for a short period of time. Can you imaging seeing the Two Jason fighting. Wow! i want SB to play another role so we can watch him showcase his acting skills. but if gh does make him jason then i hope he is JQ and not JM. he could play doctor and help me people. BM can stay on as JM the enforcer with sonny even though i wish BM was JQ instead of JM. when BM is JM the enforcer, his aggression is off a bit. he doesn't play a great hitman.

I have watched GH for about 35 years, I remember Jason Q, he was great, but when he became Jason Morgan, WOW. He created Jason Morgan. I Loved it when him and Carly first got together. I always liked the two of them. since Billy took over the role the Jason/Carly friendship isn't nearly as strong. I think BM is a great addition to the show, but he should have never been Jason! that is like having another actor come on and play Luke Spencer!! and I didn't really like that character, but he was Luke and no one else could make me think of them as Luke, same with Jason

I have never watched General Hospital but if Burton returns to his role then perhaps Billy Miller will return to Young and the Restless as Billy Abbott cuz he was great in the role and nobody since his departure has done the role justice. Then all we need is Adam back and they can show flashbacks of the twos rivalry. Yeh!

I have watched GH for 50 or so years, including the Steve Burton as Jason years. I never felt he was an outstanding actor. Billy Miller set the role of Jason on fire. I would be terribly disappointed if Burton tries to revive his Jason character. Life has moved on--and so did he.

I'm fine with Billy Miller staying on GH (and more than fine if he ends up with Sam), but I am not fine with Steve Burton returning as anyone other than the real Jason Morgan. I know that Miller decided not to try and imitate Steve Burton's Jason and to put his own "spin" on the character. That "spin" did not work for me. There was not one word from his lips, one movement he made, or one emotion he expressed that spoke to me of Jason. Miller fans keep referring to the softer Jason. The family man. That is just someone the writer's scripted. The same way the writers insisted on writing off the Jason/Liz connection in favor of Jason/Sam scenario. Jason became a different person after his original brain injury. That person was more aloof, more guarded, he seemed to crave danger. When he lost his memory he lost his feeling of connection to his family and friends who were always trying to get him to remember them and his feelings for them. This caused him to withdraw and Sonny was the only one who let him be himself . He was like a completely different person. Anyone who thinks it didn't take a serious degree of acting talent to pull off this change in Burton's role is crazy. And he more than met the challenge. Jason can be cold and deadly when called upon to protect those he cares about. But there is plenty of emotion under the surface. You just have to read his face and his eyes. He can say more with a look, with the set of his shoulders, with the way he puts his arms around someone when he hugs them, than most actors can by giving a speech. I can hardly wait for his first episode back. I only hope he plans to stay long term.

i just feel that he left GH and did not care about his fans went to another soap that did not work and now he comes back to GH NOT FEELING IT AT ALL. I LIKE BILLY WITH SAM

If you realized the rating is low, not only because of the story line but because SB is not on the show. SB plays a better Jason Morgan and is acting skills are better. The objective is to increase ratings. In the pass SB played the soft Jason and Stone Cold Jason and he was good. BM was given that chance and truthfully he tried, but in my eyes i was bored, and i am not saying BM cant act he can, but not better. However, putting these two great actors togather is a great idea for ratings to go up. SB plays a better Jason no doubt about it. If the writers let SB plays a different character GH ratings will fall. I cant wait to see the two actors working togather and the storyline. Please writers this is the opportunity do not mess this up. Steve Burton is the best Jason and Fans please do not get emotional about SB leaving for Godsake everyone has to leave one day for better opportunities. Now he is back make it count and enjoy the display of both actors.

Steve was a good stone cold. But the way they have billy as Jason now i like hes more into his family than being there for Sonny he will help sonny but is not commiyed to him.
