What do you think about tall skinny houses in your neighborhood?

In my opinion they take the charm out of these older neighborhoods and make driving down the street hazardous having to avoid the cars parked on the streets. There's already more dog walkers, baby strollers and bicyclists on our roads.

The only thing that she has not considered about her "art" is that all of the residents on Lincoln Court are dealing with construction and all that entails including noise, traffic and streets being torn up but they also for months have been subjected to her interesting idea of art. I don't think her idea of teaching the developer a lesson at the expense of creating more of an eyesore is actually very considerate of the rest of the neighborhood. I would love for all of the people making comments and cheering her on to have these signs hanging over their houses. There are ways to make your opinion known, there are ways to protest, all of us have feelings about our neighborhood and the inevitable changes that are happening around us - but those signs are ugly. The developer will move on and we on Lincoln Court will have new neighbors, I hope that we are not also left with a permanent sign of protest - it seems that her energy would be better spent on trying to change metro building ordinances.

Good for her!!! The developers are obnoxious. There should exist a mandate that these developers screen THEIR structures. For what they, and the real estate agents are profiting, there is enough revenue to do just that. And as another commenter pointed out, shame on greedy metro. What will be the appeal of these ugly houses in 20-30 years? And these are better than most!

Good for her!!! I hope she starts a trend! Greedy Metro Govt has no regards for what gave Nashville its charm or the tax payers that have held the district together for decades! If developers can't buy out all the houses on a street before they build they should only build homes as previously designed that's already in the neighborhood! The planning commission should be shamed for selling out Nashville's identity!

These things look like upgraded FEMA housing. Hideous. What they replace was much more interesting. And they are all over town! Nashville is becoming more and more unrecognizable every day. So sorry you have to endure the lack of privacy.
