This poll has undergone extreme neglect by "Poll Daddy." Over the last several weeks the results on the page that pops up after voting, and on this 'Comments' page have diverged. The 'other' tally was last in synchrony at about 73% ... but has now dropped to 71% on the post voting page and risen to 79% on this page. One would think that an organization as esteemed as Billboard would care enough to look after the polls they commission.

Grace mentioned in an interview tonight at the Starkey Hearing Foundation Gala where she performed that she thought there would be a radio push to go along with the release of her Moonlight music video. Fingers crossed. She can do things on stage with just a ukulele that would terrify some of those seemingly more popular yet less talented auto-tuned pop tarts who can neither play or write their own material. BTW, she was incredibly poised and the clips of her performing showed Moonlight had everyone moving.

Billy Bob, You say Moonlight is in the 600's on the charts, How can Moonlight be #3 on Radio Disney? Sounds like there is some BS going on somewhere.
We know Billboard loves this song, because they said so ... referring to it as the "Perfect Summer Song". Perhaps they didn't include "Moonlight" on the list because they just don't consider it a "Dance Song" ... although it makes my feet move every time I hear it.
It is unfortunate that most of the general public hasn't heard this song yet, much less formed an opinion of it. Those who have been fortunate enough to hear it, love it almost unanimously. "Moonlight" isn't getting much radio airtime right now because Grace isn't a mega star ... yet. Radio stations tend to play it safe, and stick with the big names. Becoming a mega star will take time. But, along with talent, time is another thing that Grace has tons of. Anyone following her on social media can see Grace's fan base growing on a daily basis. Perhaps the upcoming album will be Grace's catalyst to mega stardom.

The reason Grace VanderWaal's song "Moonlight" belongs in this poll is obvious ... it won the poll by a huge margin ... despite the fact that her song wasn't even listed. Imagine the thrashing if "Moonlight" had been listed. Billboard owes Grace an apology for overlooking her.

The fact that those voting for other than those you listed have to make such an effort to vote shows the depth of feeling. Think you revise the list to include Vanderwaal's Moonlight at least.

Bob, unlike Grace VanderWaal, big radio lacks originality. They don't play what is good, they play what fits their pre-conceived formulas (i.e. algorythms). If something is unique, despite being awesome -- unlike the old days when DJ's could play what they wanted -- radio won't play it. Grace breaks all the moulds The public, however, goes by what they like and although you may not like something don't think that you speak for the public. If you will notice, this poll shows results that strongly suggest the public's opinion is different than yours.

I've been listening to music for the better part of 40 years. Not in all those years from Clapton to Zepplin and everyone in between has an artist made me cry on a regular basis. Ever time I watch Grace's videos I turn into a blubbering idiot! I can't explain this visceral reaction. Just a side note I'm a US Marine and I'm not a cryer. Well after some reflection I don't think a mistake like this will happen again. After leaving off a living, breathing, walking miracle! She is the current one and only Grace Vanderwaal. Did you watch VidCon 2017? Grace Vanderwaal got a huge response for her premier performance of "Moonlight." The tune was catchy, the lyrics were involving, and her performance was magnetic. Good for VidCon for choosing her and that number for one of their acts, just as Radio Disney chose her as the standout new performer of the year. I'll be betting on "Moonlight" to become one of the major hits of the summer. It's very hard to sit still while you're listening to it. And it seems apparent by now that Grace is on her way to becoming a major star in the music world.

Billy Bob, You say Moonlight is in the 600's on the charts, How can Moonlight be #3 on Radio Disney? Sounds like there is some BS going on somewhere.
We know Billboard loves this song, because they said so ... referring to it as the "Perfect Summer Song". Perhaps they didn't include "Moonlight" on the list because they just don't consider it a "Dance Song" ... although it makes my feet move every time I hear it.
It is unfortunate that most of the general public hasn't heard this song yet, much less formed an opinion of it. Those who have been fortunate enough to hear it, love it almost unanimously. "Moonlight" isn't getting much radio airtime right now because Grace isn't a mega star ... yet. Radio stations tend to play it safe, and stick with the big names. Becoming a mega star will take time. But, along with talent, time is another thing that Grace has tons of. Anyone following her on social media can see Grace's fan base growing on a daily basis. Perhaps the upcoming album will be Grace's catalyst to mega stardom.
The general public agrees with me, and so does Billboard by refusing to add Grace's song to the poll. The only people who disagrees with me are her fans!

The fact that those voting for other than those you listed have to make such an effort to vote shows the depth of feeling. Think you revise the list to include Vanderwaal's Moonlight at least.

If something is unique, despite being awesome -- unlike the old days when DJ's could play what they wanted -- radio won't play it. Grace breaks all the moulds The public, however, goes by what they like and although you may not like something don't think that you speak for the public. I've been listening to music for the better part of 40 years. Not in all those years from Clapton to Zepplin and everyone in between has an artist made me cry on a regular basis. Did you watch VidCon 2017? Grace Vanderwaal got a huge response for her premier performance of "Moonlight." The tune was catchy, the lyrics were involving, and her performance was magnetic. Good for VidCon for choosing her and that number for one of their acts, just as Radio Disney chose her as the standout new performer of the year. I'll be betting on "Moonlight" to become one of the major hits of the summer. It's very hard to sit still while you're listening to it. And it seems apparent by now that Grace is on her way to becoming a major star in the music world.
C'mon Billboard. When are you going to start promoting some real talent. Grace VanderWaal is opening up new territory and blowing holes through all of the old, stagnant bubble-gum pop music so many of us are tired of having forced down our throats.
