Do you have health insurance?

Here is the quick version. No system put in place will address the behavioral defficiencies we as a nation have to overcome. We need to create a natural food supply(non pesticide), exercise, and then maintain proper nutrition( no sugar ). An analogy I like to use: we can't blame the car manufacturer for engine malfunction when you pour sugar in the gas tank. The insurance system will fail if all we are left with is adverse selection and healthy people forego paying into the system.

We pay over $800.00 a month and have a savings plan to pay the yearly deductible which puts us over $1,000.00 a month. This is too high as I see monies going out to Iran and other countries. Now a state is giving "free" abortions with tax payers money. We could have a good insurance plan if we stop with penalties and forced regulations. America is awake!!

First time.e in 37 years if marriage, we have no insurance. Took Obama Care last year, the increase went to $1500 month for 2017. Hopefully our good health will continue until things are fixed.

We recently lost our health coverage because it was costing us $880.00 per month and our mortgage just went up. My husband tells me it is more important to have a roof over our head then insurance. I don't know that I agree!!

I lucky to have group insurance through my employer. I pay a portion of my premium for a family PPO plan, but my deductible is $3500, every year it increases prior to pre-ACA & even after. Lucky, I've been able to offset my out of pocket costs for the last 5 years with a plan from yourhealthcareplanb.com...check it out if see if you can find value too.

My husband is self employed and we couldn't find a plan. We are both in our early 60's and I pray we have no major medical problems. We just can't afford the coverage now. The plan he looked at had a huge deductible and crazy payments each month.

I have insurance thru my employer. It is good insurance. However, I worry all the time because the premiums keep going up and did so highly since The affordable care act.

I answered no, although I do have it..it is automatically deducted from SS, and covers nothing!!! Being able to have checkups, dental and eye would actually prevent more catastrophic health issues..therefore cheaper in the long run...its insane, what they take out at the end of the year $2,400, I could take care of myself for less..ridiculous!!

I have it through the marketplace I pay $179 a month in exchange for a $7000 deductible. I go to a natural pathic Doctor Who does not participate in insurance so most everything I have done I pay out-of-pocket...I call it my CYA coverage!

I had Obamacare for a couple months at$800 per month for family of 3, each having $10,000 deductible, had a accident that required surgery for ankle fracture, insurance did not cover, cancelled plan and negotiated all bills and paid 6K out of pocket for total procedure and aftercare.

Yes, but I'm one of the blessed few, it feels like. I'm retired and have Medicare advantage, which takes care of a great deal of medical needs. My husband was without work and insurance for awhile a couple of years ago and the premiums for Obama Care was so high that there was no way we could pay for it. He has had expensive medical issues for several years, but God was good to us in that he didn't have any problems during that time.

I have Obamacare and the premiums are killing us. My husbands retired and I'm forced to buy this crappy, high ins that doesn't cover anything.

Even if you have insurance, go to the hospital and tell them Obama sent you. Tell them he will pay for the bill because you are a refugee.

We have insurance, but, adding the premium and deductible together, isn't insurance. It's like paying a mortgage, property taxes and Hoa fees without owning a house. Like paying auto insurance to cover the non insured. Like going to a fine restaurant with your girlfriend and she orders a salad. If you don't get my point, get Obama to explain it.

I have Obamacare. Ended up in the ER, now I'm looking at a bill for $6759.00 and I pay $318.00 a month for that coverage. 56 years old, worked hard my entire life, kept my credit perfect only for Obamacare to come along and possibly ruin my credit. And if I make one dime more than I'm making I'll have to pay back the $252.00 tax credit for every month I got it and my premium will increase to $570.00 a month!

No, I'm the only person in our family that doesn't. My husband and kids are covered through his employer, but the option to add the spouse would have added $1100 a month. Buying a policy for just me didn't make sense either, we could afford the premium, but we couldn't afford for me to use it.

Every day I count my blessings because of the excellent healthcare coverage I am privileged to have. We are covered for medical, optical and dental through the State of Michigan because my husband was an employee for 33 years. For the medical we pay nothing; for the optical and dental we pay just over $100/year and we are each allowed three dental exams and cleanings per year. We are also on Medicare, which we pay $110/mo. each like everyone else on Medicare. Our Rx coverage is also excellent. We pay small amounts for things that are not within the scope of either plan. As I said, we are extremely fortunate. I don't know how people without good insurance, or any insurance, can manage.

I would say many of your followers are hardworking people with jobs and insurance. May not be a true picture.

Yes but I work full time & for a family of four it cost me about $700. A month! It's sad that people can work part time & get government asstistance ! I'm tired of people that can work full time living off the government !
