These sicko's want us to accept them as they are but they can't even accept themselves as they are. Sick psyco's...Keep them OUT of the military. Serving is a privilege, not a right. The military is the protectors of our nation, not a frigging social experiment group. No to the Trannies.

You people are terrible excuses for humans. WHAT THE FUCK DOES IT MATTER IF A TRANS PERSON WANTS TO SERVE??? Let them serve. This is just as bad as the whole don't ask don't tell gay ban BS... Seriously people grow up.

What he should do is say that gender reassignment surgery is not covered for enlisted. Its elective surgery that is not life threatening. This way you are not discriminating against them by denying enlistment. People get discharged all the time for not being able to hack the military. So this should not be an issue...

Retired military, keep them out of military. Most are joining for the medical to pay for their surgery. They don't want to defend our country.
Use the money for disabled vets and families

We retired from the military and we now pay for healthcare, even though we were promised free. I'm not complaining about the cost and copays as they are reasonable compared but I cannot get a boob job or even eye surgery so why would I help pay for sex changes. Also when you start taking hormones your body changes.

As a former service member in the Army (88M), i absolutly agree with it. The vast majority of military men and women will say the same. If you need a good argument for it, look up a post by former Army drill sergeant John Burke from yesterday, gives very clear reasons why they do not need to be in the service.

From what I read the transgenders already in ARE grandfathered in so that is not an issue! If you don't go around and announce that you are a transender person then there shouldn't be a way for anyone to tell that you are a transgender! The military doesn't need to be a social experiment!

If they've already gone through their surgery and are ready to go work I'm fine with it.. But if they're joining to get the Gov to pay for this then I'm totally against it.

If there joining just to get the taxpayers to pay for there sex change surgery then no they should not be allow to join. We should not have to pay for there problem.

I think there should have been more caveats to Trump's statement since we already have transgenders in the service and might have made the decision more palatible. These people should be grandfathered in as someone else posted but I'm definitely against the service being the means by which someone makes their transition. Just as other health impairments preclude acceptance, it falls into a similar category never mind any social objections some may have.

It's not that we are against the transgenders it's that they impose their problems upon the American way of life. It was just the other day that they was saying the transgender would be boardring with the female military personnel. That's where your problems is right now. Just like last year fiasco of transgenders using bathroom they identify with but imposes on others.

Due to another mess created by Obama, those already serving would need to be 'Grandfathered' in order to prevent additional lawsuits but no new enrollment should be allowed. I don't want my hard earned tax dollars paying for someone's personal choices such as this.

Transgender is against my religion, I shouldn't be paying for you to get sex change. If I'm shot in the battlefield, I don't want to hear that you can't help carrying me out because you are not strong like a man because you are actually a girl. Why wait until you join the military to now get the procedure, why not wait until you are out? The entire subject is ridiculous, they are trying to brainwash us to accept this crap so the entire world becomes liberal. Muslims will be killing all of these liberals, but yet, they defend them. This world is full of crazy people. Bunch of psychos. If the military is that important to you, get the procedure done before or after. I want my entire body tattooed, should I join the military and ask for the taxpayers to pay? Freaks!!!
