I see all time. Looking at their iPad, tablet , cell not paying attention to other walkers, cross walks, trucks, buses, Cars! They need to go back to kindergarten or preschool to relearn how to cross the Street. Metrotown mall has large concrete columns. I don' t want to pay their medical bills for being stupid.

Crossing a street in a responsible safe manner is every persons legal responsibility. Suffering a dismemberment, death, crushed bones, mangled & torn limbs is not fun. Neither is recuperating and learning to walk again or spending a life in a wheel chair.

You cannot legiferate idiots. Banning everything is not the solution. However you can make idiots liable for their stupidity.

No. That's how you get rid of stupid people. Accidents are necessary.

I support the ban - with stipulations Texting... completely ban, unless stationary. Cell phone use: there should be a lane or areas specifically designated for cell phone users. But no one should be able to use their cell phone in any way whilst on the roadway. Period.

It weeds out the stupid and improves the human species. Need a law to tell people how to develop common sense.
