Come guys!!! Can you honestly say that the kick on the A kit wasn't given that low end oomf to lead us astray?

I'm saying A are real, not because B sounds fake, but only because B sounds more like something you would want to end up with by replacing.

Kit A sounds great but Kit B has been enhanced to bring out more middle beefiness. In short I like the sound of Kit B better and as such would use it.

Exemple A is the real kit to my ears. B sounded best to my taste, but I feel it is du to added room mics making the kit beefier. It is hard to judge as I'm on my cell phone without headphone, but I'm pretty sure I'm spot on.

My second guest is : marketing being what it is.... if the real drums sounded less live than the SD blend, some one would have not done his job well! :p (hoping I'm right....)

I really like SD and I'll upgrade soon! That's the best sounding drummer that stops when you "ask" ;)

Overall kit B is punchier and less phasey. The drums also sound a bit isolated. Sounds good though. What really gives away the answer to which is real is the hats. Kit A is more clear on its attack and transients. So Kit A is definitely the real kit.
