If an order is given and people don't evacuate then forget about them and don't waste time trying to save them - let them live or die by their decision. Save the money that would be spent on them to help the smart survivors rebuild.

I lived in Central Florida for 40 years before moving to Tennessee. I have been through 5 hurricanes and evacuated my home twice. I'm glad I did. I have seen the devastation a hurricane leaves. Never take a chance. It may be your life that's lost.

When you choose to stay in a dangerous situation, you put not only your life in danger but also the lives of the first-responders who may need to rescue you
