As for the poll, I may watch football again but not until the NFL and team owners realize just how wrong they are to use this venue to vent their dislikes and issue a public apology for not putting a stop to it.

If a person wants to display his or her dislike for President Trump then do so, but disrespecting our flag and anthem to show displeasure is disrespectful, insulting and downright childish and selfish. To see players who live such a privileged life disrespect those of us who can't earn in a lifetime what they make in a week do this is just plain disgusting. Shame on owners like Robert Kraft who either don't care or don't have the courage to tell his players to do what they must, but do not do it on my field.

My husband Steeler guy from way back who fondly recalls finally having a cigarette and a shot with Jack Lambert back in the day. So when a guy like my guy decides to go to Costco grocery shopping for the week on game day instead of watching because it's too political and too PC you got to ask yourself what's going on with the NFL?

NFL was one of the last places where we could come together without divisive politics and rhetoric. The NFL tainted their credibility by going mainstream and allowing what was previously a respected sport built on the principles of sportsmanship to be nothing more than mainstream politicking and individual showboating. It's why I don't watch the news or TV its to divisive and one-sided. So now the NFL is just another channel.

I will never watch another NFL game or any sports that is disrespecting our American Flag. This is such an insult to all of our Men and Women from all races that fight for our freedom. The National Anthem has been a part of all sports here in American from the start of the games. If the players dont want to stand for our National Anthem then they should go an play for the country that they do respect. So sad....

It is just a way for Trump to start more crap.He don't care about anyone but himself. The more he divides the country the better it is for him.Or so he thinks If they cant protest peacefully than he wins but its OK for him to call everybody an SOB he plays to his base like a devil worshiper to a pentagram.

I will watch more. Im proud of all those who fought to give every American freedom of speech and the rights to speak up for inequities. This is what America is about.

Since when did the NFL decide to allow politics in football? If these overpaid football primadonna's truly want to exercise their constitutional rights, then they need to get their unpatriotic self centered buts down to Washington DC, and take a knee in front of the US Capital building. I served my country Honorably for 26 Years, how dare they act like this. What's next, are the players going to light a US Flag on the sideline during the National Anthem, which is also sadly to say, protected under freedom of speech. Where do we draw the line. I am with my wallet!!! No more NFL anything fore me and my family until the NFL and all of the players apologize for their inappropriate behavior.

The real question is,"Do you agree with the players disrespectful display during the playing of the national anthem at football games?" What a sneaky way to get the media's desired result. Ask
the veterans and the families who lost loved ones.

Having a dad that served in the military and was awarded The Purple Heart .I think instead of protesting the NFL we should protest our President why are we more offended by this protest then him supporting Nazi's and calling people S.O.B's

Sorry but they are not boycotting the national anthem. They were boycotting Trump's comment and police brutality

I will never watch another NFL game again. It is disgusting to watch these so called "new England Patriots" be so unpatriotic. Disrespecting my American Flag and the many dead Veterans, Black, Asian, Puerto Rican and White alike is like a slap in the face to all of us Vets.
