What about the Native Indigenous treaty rights; the Peace River farmers, and the rest of us that have concerns about our province-like reducing our 2% farmland for water storage for the benefit of our American counterparts? Build these colossal mega-dams just like China, Russia, and other countries- where the projects have added nothing to the economy. This poor decision to 'stay the course' will only burden us with more debt and give even more power to a dysfunctional B.C. Hydro to dole out our hydroelectric power at the expense of BC residents.
