    'FACEPALM'
    ANALOGY:

"Guns stores being closed on Sundays reduces the amount of crime".

Selling and buying alcohol on Sunday would have no affect on minors getting their hands on it. Drugs for example, yeah they're illegal, but making them illegal isn't going to stop a person from getting a hold of some. It's ridiculous to use 'minors' as an excuse. Stop blaming alcohol for your bad parenting.

So what is going to curb minors from getting their drink and consuming the other 6 days of the week? Ancient law needs to be put away. The surrounding states allow Sunday sales. What have they done to help curb underage drinking? You would think that the legislators would want to keep the revenue in the state rather than force Hoosiers to go out of state on Sunday and spend Indiana dollars there.

Ridiculous to say that banning alcohol sales on Sundays curbs underage drinking. Because teenagers only try to buy alcohol on Sundays? I do not see the connection at all. Morality is learned at home. You're not going to legislate away underage drinking.

I don't see why indiana keeps a ban on alcohol sale on Sunday anyway I mean people can still go to a bar on Sunday why risk more people drinking and driving going to and from the bars. College students are still going to posses alcohol any how. Wouldn't it be smart to just close the bars on Sunday and have alcohol sold carryout only. Indiana law makers need to have more common sense.

Just like banning bump stocks will reduce gun violence.
