He is an amazing actor. Because of this, layers and layers are being peeled away giving us food for thought. He is s loving husband, a doting father, a cunning and greedy man. He is so intriguing to watch! Please keep him on Coronation Street!

At first I hated him like most I should imagine, but he’s turned into a very complex and compelling character. I love watching him. Connor is a fabulous actor and I would really hate to see him go. But please, please release Andy and we will forget all about it eh?!?! ????

Best baddie in Corrie since Richard Hillman! So brilliantly acted by Connor McIntyre that when Phelan is just going about his ordinary business or he's in the Rovers etc, I actually like the character, them when he is doing his dastardly deeds, you go back to hating him! Down entirely to the way he is played. I hope a way can be found to keep the character on the cobbles for a very long time yet.
