Are You Planning on Using Lightroom CC ?

I'm looking to move away from LR6 now.

The idea of being 'locked' into a LR subscription was too much. (A Photoshop subscription is less of an issue for me, if I was doing that)

I'm certainly more comfortable with idea of moving away from a central LR type catalog for my original RAW file library... and reverting to a more old-school file system based setup.
Then probably looking at creating multiple date-based sessions in Capture One.
I export all my images to JPG after processing, and load those in Apple Photos. That, plus appropriate keyword tagging allows me to have a 'single catalog' that I can search if I'm looking for an image. So, it would be easy enough then to open the appropriate session in C1 then.

    Other options I'm considering.
Using Iridient Transformer to at least convert my Fuji raws into DNG... then go into C1 (will evaluate if C1 is good enough to work directly on the Fuji RAWS)
Using a combo of Iridient Transformer, File System mgt, and Affinity Photo (plus some EXIF tagging tools for Keywording). (Even with my relatively low volume of photos compared to a professional full-time photographer... I suspect this workflow to be a bit cumbersome)

I just checked, the LR splash on invocation says I am using it. I know things are changing, but due to travel I'm behind. I guess I'll eventually have a decision. However, I'm invested in LR since I was a first release beta tester. It's really in my blood. Not sure how to handle the full catalog, which got corrupted in a prior release and which I'm still trying to sort out. I'll have to have it sorted before I can say NO (if that's my decision) and move on.

I am a fine art photographer. I need and use serious digital darkroom tools.
