I don't think the fees should be raised . I thought one of the reasons for the Colorado Lottery was to generate revenue for the parks and roadways. Is my understanding wrong? The new fee rates are just to much. If they have go up then do it modestly, perhaps $5-$10 not $50. I'm sure the parks are in need of repairs to keep them safe but there has got to be a better way.

Something has to be done .. I stopped going as it is toooo crowded ... 10 years ago I would go twice a month. Raise the price and offer more free days to balance the people that are willing to pay and those that say no.

When I was growing up, we didn't have money to go to Disney World, but our mom still managed to take us on road trip vacations. We traveled many places, mostly seeing National Parks and Museums, because they were cost effective. Please don't make nature inaccessible for lower income families. Doubling the day pass is shameful. The park isn't even close to being in shambles!

Several Years ago, I purchased a "U.S. SENIOR CITIZEN LIFETIME PASS" TO "ALL OF THE NATIONAL PARKS & FEDERAL RECREATIONAL LANDS" (As printed on the back of my SENIOR PASS I.D. card)!!! THE LAST TIME I LOOKED, THE CARD READS "LIFETIME PASS", and "I AM STILL A U.S. SENIOR CITIZEN, AND I AM STILL ALIVE"!!!!! I REFUSE TO SPEND ANY MORE MONEY AS I ENTER ANY OF THE THE ABOVE STATED LANDS!!!!!!!!!!????????????????????????????????????????????

Why can't we have a resident and non-resident fee just like our hunting license fees?
I can't pay $75 a day to go in my backyard but vacationers would gladly.

I think due to the influx in tourists and transplants to our state, charge the new fee!! You can stuff 5-10 people per car to view the beauty our state offers, and the park deserves the upgrades. I'd vote yes 100 times more. -Love a true Native Coloradan

Your pole clearly shows that 96% would not pay the increase!

Your newscaster just reported on television that 96% of voters said they WOULD pay the increased fees. I find it disturbing that she is unable to accurately read and report a yes no survey.

It says 95% says no not yes so I’m confused on your news story info???
