This is a poll based on popularity, so it doesn't really have anything to do with who sings better, who has more range, who presents a song better, who dances better, or who is the overall better performer. In a sense, I suppose it is about all of that, but it's based on the personal opinions of those who come to the site and vote. So, if Madonna gets the most votes, it's because more people who like her came to the site and participated. Never mind that Madonna does not sing better than Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, or Donna Summer. It's more about which female vocalist's has the most fans that will participate in this poll.
