    Damn dude how do you feel about your comment now? Jimmy G won all 6 starts and 2 of the last 3 were playoff teams. (Rams are too but they rested everyone so I’m not counting that as a playoff team) Brady needed last minute heroics to beat the Jags and Jimmy dropped 44 points on them. Brady is 40 and Garapolo is young and will be the new face of the 49ers for many years to come. He Was well coached and learned how to play and train like a champion from Brady. Can’t wait to see what he can do with a while off season, the playbook opening up more for him, and getting him more weapons.
    Good luck to your Pats in the Super Bowl and a bigger thank you for Jimmy!

    Oh and that high 2nd round pick turned to a mid 2nd round pick after he won us all those games. So we got him for an even cheaper value!

    NE traded Garapalo because they knew he wouldn't re-sign to be Brady's backup again. They also obviously don't think Garapolo can win the SB if Brady goes down. So they trade him for a top 2nd round pick to the flailing 49ers.

    0-8 SF on the other hand, gave up a top 2nd round pick to rent a free agent QB for 8 games. SF will have the opportunity to draft a potential franchise QB, but it appears they won't. Instead, they've commited to paying top $$$ to a NE back up, who NE was more than happy to trade away. (See: Hoyer*, Cassel, Mallett).

    SF is easily 3 years, and 1 ownership group, removed from contending for not last in the NFC West. A 1st round rookie QB might cost SF $30 mil over 4 years, and may become a decade+ franchise QB. SF apparently has chi owned out on that route.

    Garapalo is 26, will cost $40mil+ in signing bonus + $20 mil per year. He looked good as Brady's back up for a few games on a super bowl team. I must be missing something here.

    NE: A++
    SF: F- (York)
