Anambra election should be an avenue for restoration of youths into governance in Nigeria. Tony Nwoye is young if compared with the other candidates, he is the youngest, so, giving him the mandate of Anambra leadership should be what every right thinking Anambranians should do. He may not has performed excellently in his speech and debates, but, he still has the spirit of good governance and egalitarian society as a youth, unlike the other candidates who have old coercive and exploitative Nigeria administrative system.

All the participant in debate tried in coomunicating their plans to anambrians but leaders are judged by their aticident. Tony Nwoye is a youth with cloud behind him. He is not a politician but an ativist whom through he activism show cases his interes in humanity and equity for the living. Saturday 18th is the d day! I give my vote for Dr Tony!
if elections are won on ones eloquence and oratory, Obaze is the man to beat. he is insightful and he is mentally and physically sound. Osita is another person that i see a great potential in him. Willie was jittering, APC candidate was lost.

I have been listening to this debate...and once more this man Osita Chidoka has proven himself to be the man for Anambra state..his approach and well packaged responses and vision for Anambra state is a world class..with him I see Anambra state becoming a modern state just like Lagos...Obaze is good too but my vote goes to Osita Chidoka

Being a good debater is different from being a good administrator. However, the candidate that performed best in the debate is Chidoka. His analysis was perfect. Him and Obaze finished Obiano totally. While Nwoye is good academically, Nevertheless, he is best fit for a deputy.

Ndi Anambra are very blessed with human resources just like Osita Chidoka of UPP said,and I wish it is possible to have the very best of the best in just one ticket. Osita Chidoka and Obaze administration would have been the very best in the entire federation. But since it may not be possible at this time,I give the vote to Osita Chidoka. Willie's big government is very wasteful,though he tried but his best is not good enough.
I wish PDP will pick Peter Obi as their vice presidential ticket. Judging from the debate, the incumbent governor looked mediocre. Obaze was most articulate and spoke like he actually prepared for the debate. I do not think the rest have substance to inspire good governance.
If on merit, Obaze performed best, but the invisible shackles of corruption and party politics would end up making a mockery of this debate (now that's the obstacle that needs to be conquered and it starts with little steps like today's debate). Well done ChannelsTV and I hope this is replicated in other States across Nigeria.
Oseloka Obaze of PDP is so intellectually sound. He answered the questions with fact and all sincerity. I see him winning the election on Saturday with a wide margin
Obaze and Chidoka clearly were more focused about their plans and it could be seen that their calm and confidence weakened the base of Obiano who felt entitled to a second term. Obiano's insistence of celebrating salary payment as achievement was not a useful point. Why would he have paid himself and his political appointees without paying civil servant. It is not as if payment of salary was an innovative idea. Just as Chidoka said, the wage bill increased and there was no savings in that direction. Tony Nwoye, the APC guy, clearly looked overwhelmed by the responsibilities of a governor. He had no substance. Unfortunately, Ezeemo would best remain in his industrial sector and provide an avenue to support government activities. As it is, Anambra deserves a change in government from Obiano and they have a choice to make between Obaze and Chidoka. They should not focus much on party but the individual who has substance enough to drive their vision. May the best man win.
