Always thought Raccoons was the Canadian version of the Smurfs. Start thinking...the similarities are hilarious.
As a farmer who watched forest rangers as a youngster, have to say, raccoons are a nuisance so have to vote against them on principle, regardless of the show.
The Racoons was popular outside Canada as well and speaking to some friends in Portland unaware it was a Canadian show... it's a part of their childhood as well. Plus, who doesn't put on Run With Us by Lisa Lougheed (The Racoons theme song) when they're having a party? Can't go to a dance night without hearing that song (up and down the west coast anyway).
I was going to vote Raccoons because I'd never heard of TFR but then you mentioned Gordon Pinsent and he's my great uncle, so consider that one vote swayed.
