What a Sophie's Choice: two of the greatest shows in the history of Canadian television. In the end I voted Kids, but it was a heart-rending decision. Love both. A lot.

I’m devastated at these results. Degrassi was so quintessentially Canadian. Awkward, low budget, so earnest, those Canadian accents, the fashion, the hair, Zit remedy. Vote Degrassi!
Kids In the Hall isn’t just a great Canadian comedy, it’s a great comedy period that’s influenced people beyond our borders. Because it wasn’t issues of the day, it still works. It was daring that when you compare to some edgy comedies today you can say the CBC has been there and done that in the early 90s. Dagrassi might seem like the safe Canadian choice, but be bold dammit! Vote Kids In the Hall!
