Sheer madness! I guess if I get a wheelchair I can use the bike lanes!

How come the city is so fixated about creating and adding more bike lanes when most bikers does not even use the said lanes specifically created for them. They always use sidewalks and pedestrian crossings even if the bike lanes are just right beside them. Such a waste of taxpayers money!!!!

It already has a perfectly good shared path on the East side separated from traffic by railings. It would be money better spent on social programmes.

Cities and zoos are for the ones that can't feed themself.

Thank goodness this mayor is on his way out. No more of this insanity. Look at the poll results. No one wants more bike lanes. It’ll cost millions to remove them one day.

I donèt understand why there are not more yes votes. The city says that this project will have minimal effect on motor vehicle traffic because the right lane turns into exit ramps onto 2nd Ave. This will improve the safety and convenience of those who walk and cycle across the bridge. This will encourage more people to walk and cycle and less people to drive. This is a win-win all around. Also, the business community is in favour. What's not to like?

Oh come on! Enough is enough! How many months of rain occur in Metro Vancouver? As well isn't it very disrespectful of those people who for various reasons cannot bike? Perhaps the current Council would like to eliminate anyone altogether who cannot bike to or around Emerald City . Time to vote them out!
