  With all these heroes we love here, it reminds me of voting to name my 4H group in middle school...there were so many name ballots that the winning name was really only loved by about 1/6 of the group. The majority of us detested it, but were divided and conquered! :-)
  Perhaps next year you could try this in rounds like you did with the supporting characters? I love these polls in any format you choose, though.

  Stiles stilinski or Leonard McCoy-esque from star trek, and I totally agree; I would have loved more votes, it's just way to hard to pick as there are a number of them that are my favourites! ;)

  I'd LOVE to see a hero with a physical handicap or chronic illness. Someone that everyone would understand if they didn't step up, but they do it anyway.

  I would love to see you do a character who is aloof, sarcastic/cynical and doesn't trust anyone; maybe even seems to be the villain. And then he learns to trust people and opens up, but stays sarcastic.

  OMG me too!! I'm still hoping for a little bit of an antihero. Like Oliver from Jessica Day George's last 12 dancing princesses book, or Artimis Fowl.
