10 BILLION dollars and nothing will change—except the bank accounts of Mayor Barry''s close contractor friends.

NO! And, why hasn't that creep of a Mayor resigned?

10 BILLION dollars and growing. A colossal gov't tax and waste adventure, on our dimes.

NO to Mayor Tramp's fiscal folly.

IEATBUBBLES, even Tide pods cost more than ten cents per unit, but u probably knew that? Thirty years of democrat mayoral rule in Nashville has turned this city into the makings of the next Chicago . BTW, Chicago has had light rail trains galore for years along with the highest crime and murder rates in America and STILL has major traffic congestion! Keep tax and spending, will become the new Chicago! RAH RAH...I'll be leaving Davidson county!

I want to know where Ieatbubbles buys coffee for 10 cents a cup?

At IEatBubbles 10 CENTS A DAY?? Where on earth did you take math? Lets look at that. 10 cents a day is $3 per month or $36 a year per person in tax. There are roughly 685,000 people in Davidson County so that would equal about $2 million per month or roughly $25 million per year in taxes. To pay off $10 BILLION for this idiotic scheme it would take over 400 years at 10 cents a day to pay for this lunacy.

Don't you just love the Larry Hester types? 82% of us are idiots and he is part of the 18% in this poll that knows better than the masses. Here is my suggestion. I suggest Davidson County should pay 10,000 people who live in surrounding counties $500 per month to move into Davidson County to relieve the traffic problem. That comes to $5 million per month or $60 million per year. They could pay this over a 20 year period for a total cost of $1.2 Billion dollars. That would leave drop your drawers Megan over $9 Billion dollars of the ESTIMATED cost to make bus lanes, public utility trees, Mother Earth dancers and climate control nuts to spend. Just think of it, 10,000 cars a day no longer rushing into Nashville since they would all live there. Heck raise it to $1,000 per month for a cost of $2.4 BILLION and people would flood into Davidson County to collect their gubment checks. I don't think people realize just how much $10 Billion is and believe me $10 billion is nowhere near what this boondoggle is going to cost.

    To all the perpetual nay-sayers...
Would you pay just ten cents a day...the price of a cup of coffee...to get a few of those people who are crawling in front of you off the road?
If only they were gone, you could get home and be posting negativity on the internet in no time!

Mirenda, I totally agree! I live in Hermitage and happened to drive by the Hermitage Music City Star station on Martin Luther King Day that day and the parking lot, which is normally 3/4 full, was empty. Meaning most riders are either metro or federal employees who most likely ride for free or for very little cost which means were still picking up the cost of them riding. Let all riders pay their own way if they really want it and not on the taxpayers!

I tell you what, have those idiots that said no try riding the bus and getting stuck in traffic see why we need to have light rail. We have needed it for over 30 years. So until you have traveled on the bus and seen what we go through, you can shut up.

Incentivize companies to offer work-from-home 2 days a week. Most companies have employees that can do their job from home...at least part of the time. This would dramatically reduce traffic.

Riders should pay with ticket prices and not raise tax on people who will never use it. Why should majority pay for minority to ride
