Why do all of these cis gendered people feel as if the non-binary community is invalid,me identifying with they,them, theirs pronouns have nothing to do with you,I choose not to identify as a male or female because I don't feel as if I'm neither of them,the same way males want to be called males and females want to be called females,im not going to try to make you identify as something you feel you're not the same way you shouldn't judge me or try to prevent me from being who I am,in reality the reason you feel as if they're only male and female genders is because your mind is clouded by what other people try to tell you the norm is or because you were told when you were younger that the only real gender is male and female,being transgender is valid,if they've struggled with your self identity and decided they no longer want to be male or no longer want to be female let them this has nothing to do with you,if anything I hope it opens up a lot of people's eyes in recognizing the same way you want to be called the cis gender you were born as or you want to be identified as the gender you yourself choose to go by go ahead it doesn't matter what other people think,if you can except yourself for who you are that's the only thing that matters.seriously it is 2018 this stuff shouldn't have to matter,america has come so far why do people still decide to discriminate against valid human rights.

My dad has been a pastor for over twenty years. He believes that god is good and all of that, but he is also a good man. He believes that we all should express ourselves how we want to, even if it means changing our gender identity. When I came out to my dad as nonbinary, he simply said, “god loves all of his children; son, daughter, or none of the above. So I’ll do the same.” If you’re so close minded that you think I’m going to hell or something for not wanting to identify as my birth gender, you need to reconsider how you view your religion and how it affects you.

These comments about disgust me. There are animal species who have over 50,000 sexes like coral. In reality, there are three human sexes, male, female, and intersex where they are born with both parts. Gender is up to themselves, gender is self expression. If it bothers you so much that you scream “there’s only two genders1!!1!”, after something like this is presented, no one will care for your time. Gaurunteed that not a lot will read my comment and agree, but judging from the majority voting yes for this, I hope so. Just let people live. Having a third gender option on an ID doesn’t affect your daily life unless you do identity in the grey area of that third option, otherwise this is a huge step. People of the LGBT+ community will be more connected and more supportive than any of you in these disgusting and hateful comments.

Absolutely. Stop embarassing trans people and making their lives difficult in situations that call for an ID. I've gotten shit for my ID so many times bc I don't "look like a girl" or "I'm using a fake one" bc my gender doesn't match me. Y'all are a bunch of ignorant idiots honestly. If you believe in creation, male and female were created. If you believe in evolution, you evolved either male or female. On judgement day when you stand in front of our creator you will still be male or female. No other option available.

To the self-important troglodytes on here demanding hysterically that everyone listen to them: You are free to think whatever you want. Science, knowledge and progress don't have to interfere with your hateful misery. Have your opinions. But know that you can't control other people. Their lives are theirs; not yours. The entire country is aware of how hard it is for those of you resisting progress and social justice. Why don't you observe the way the better folks among you are dealing with these changes. Note how they seek understanding and learning. Note how they disabuse themselves of the oppressive myths and biases. Note how happier they are. How stronger the country becomes with such unity and brotherhood. The alternative, and some of you will undoubtedly choose that road, is to take your bitterness, hatred, and ignorance to your grave.... leaving your children or grandchildren with a bit of shame tarnishing their memory of you. So you go on, moan and cry. Others will be embracing a promising future of a stronger, more united America - not at all as you futilely envision it.

Enough is enough! This is getting so far out of hand. There are male or female period. If you want to identify has a unicorn then whatever but that does NOT mean I have to except it. If you’re a male and change to a female, you are still a male! They have to take medication to stop testosterone. It’s male or female. America, we need wake up and fast. Our country is falling apart and we are no longer the super power of the world. If this kind of idiotic thing continues, we will see WW3 on our own soil.
