As the widow of a KCVI graduate and the mother of two who graduated from KCVI as Ontario Scholars 29 and 26 years ago respectively I have to admit to being somewhat prejudiced but let's keep some of the history that goes with the institution. I remember the previous time there was a move to close KCVI when both of my children were in attendance there and the push back then was huge from all segments, students, parents, business and Queen's, the latter because they know what a draw KCVI represented to potential faculty members due to its stellar reputation and location. Fortunately the nay side prevailed then. Nothing against Gord Downie but come on let's retain at least a semblance of the history of KCVI.
