Imagine the tax burden to the public required to manage pay per km vs pay at congested point.

To all who voted NDP, life is just about to get very affordable. This is just the start to a long road of looting our after income tax dollars. Hail Horgan, Hail Weaver, Hail NDP.

Tax, fee, toll, tip, duty, levy....
How's about we simply call it a "fine", that way we can blame ourselves instead of everyone else.

I work in Vancouver, but live outside of Vancouver because I can’t afford a house in Vancouver! So charging per kilometre is gonna hurt the people that can’t afford to live within the city! How can the younger generation make it in the lower mainland if the government keeps taking money out of our pockets?

If per kilometre is chosen, how does one claim back for usage outside the GVRD? As an example, our RV travels approximately 10 km. each way to the GVRD boundary but a single trip can easily exceed 3000km. What provision will be made to avoid paying fees for the 2980km. driven outside the boundary?

Illusion of free roads ? I’m sorry , how much tax is added to fuel that is supposed to be for roads ? I thought this government was going to make life more affordable for everyone.
