CCTV does not prevent crime. But it sure makes it easier to catch and prosecute scumbag criminals. And for people complaining about a loss of privacy, are you aware that we are living in the 21st century? Every moment is being recorded on your phone or your friend's phone.

It appears that nature gave creatures senses such as sight and sound in so that they could hunt/ hide from foe. Therefore the most extreme invasion of privacy is nothing new in natures daily endeavours?
