OstomyAid (UK only)Many third world countries do not have the money to pay for expensive ostomy supplies, and due to recent wars, famine, and natural disasters the demand is growing.For example, the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital in Ethiopia carries out 1,200 interventions a year for women that have suffered horrific childbirth injuries. The hospital needs support to rebuild lives and restore dignity every day.This short survey asks the quantity of supplies that are being disposed of, and the reasons why they are surplus. They can then be used in sub-saharan Africa to help those in most need.
