Renaming the Golf Course at Sun City Vistoso

The Board of Directors, in its April Board meeting, created the Golf Course Name Change Task Force to recommend a new name or options for names for our golf course. The task force has met and developed a process to make this recommendation to the Board. While the decision ultimately rests with the Board of Directors, it’s important for the community to have a clear understanding for such a change and to provide input into the process. To accomplish this, a community forum will be Friday, June 11, 1 PM, Social Hall/Navajo, where the history of this topic will be discussed, along with the process for making the change and listening to resident input. The task force is developing criteria through which the recommended name will be determined. It is the hopes of the task force to make a final report and recommendation to the Board at the July Study Session and for the Board to act on the recommendation at their meeting on Tuesday, July 27.
