Some software engineers feel that, as an industry, they are still failing to add value and deliver high quality software, hiding behind the Agile Software Development manifesto in doing so. Consequently they have created the Manifesto for Software Craftmanship, which seeks to raise the bar for software engineering above that set by the original manifesto.
