There is no real "best" Denzel Washington movie as he brings a unique and powerful portrayal of any character. It was easy to see his potential as far back as "Carbon Copy". Like a vintage wine, Mr. Washington has only improved with time. His respect for his wife and family and his faith seem to have made him the man he is today. Much respect!!!

It's impossible to categorise Denzel movies. I can't say which is no. 1, no. 2 or no. 3. All of his movies are superb. He is an excellent actor. He is the best. He is one of my all time favourite. You simply rock Denzel.
Hurricane Carter was a good movie.
And of course Malcolm X........hard to choose.....this kat doesn't makes bad movies

Then, everything else would be a close third because he's fantastic in everything as an actor, but also elevates whatever movie he's in . Man on Fire was a pure lead role (Glory, Philadelphia...brilliant but supporting) and the depth of pain from the truly tortured character was so completely external without ever being shown. Denzel.
And what`s on with his beautiful "Fences"?
It's very hard for me to pick Denzel's best movie. Although many of his movies were excellent screenplays, Denzel makes the movies great. He is, in my opinion, the best actor in Hollywood. He has so much talent and charisma. Some will say it doesn't matter, but I also respect him for his high moral standards and his strong Christian faith and practices.
Although it was kind of a supporting role for Denzel, Safe House is one of my favorites. It should definitely be on the list above. Man on Fire is a great film by the late Tony Scott RIP.

I Totally agree, where is Remember The Titans, Philadelphia, American Gangster, Etc Etc! He is a Helluva of an actor, Always has been. I must say I was Pissed when he won an award for training day though! Of all of the Great movies he's made, he won for Crooked Cop! Boo!!!-
