Should the Steelers sign Kareem Hunt?

Been a STEELER fan for 52 years. Rooney needs to get on Tomlin !! Tomlin needs to bring more discipline to the team. James Harrison made that point as he compared the STEELERS to the PATRIOTS.
The front office needs to get with the times. They should have renegotiated Bell's contract before the whole mess started. They waited till it became a "pissing contest" and now Bell will get his money from another team. I know ,, they say it's a salary cap thing. Well if that's true, then they fu-k-d up by paying others on the team to much. Now we have the "Brown situation",, and here is that lack of " DISCIPLINE" rears it's head. Big Ben has his radio show and criticises his team mates on it pissing off his teammate's. These type things should be kept "IN HOUSE"!! Tomlin lets it go. What in the hell does he have a radio show for anyways?? With the money he makes,, a radio show??? SERIOUSLY??? 1st chance he got the offensive line coach hall's ass. The two best weapons in the league want out. That's all on Tomlin. Thats his job and he's not doing it. He should see any player that is not content and nip any problems in the
bud ! As I said way back when Bell put his request on the tabel,, PAY THE MAN !! If you don't we are NOT going to the playoffs. With no discipline we weren't prepared and lost 3 in a row to sorry ass teams. They say we play down to substandard teams and we do !! Who's falt is that ??? News flash,, TOMLIN. I only named a few of his ineptitude as a head coach. His only SUPERBOWL was with a team that was built by coach Cower. I am sad to say,, we won't be going to the playoffs again in 2019-20-21 or 23. I got a better chance of getting pregnant !! GET RID OF TOMLIN,, end of story. ????

Absolutely agree--fix the D--improve with better tackling, better reads, turnover ratio, get sacks--
Butler has been a disappointment since becoming DC--And Mike Tomlin being a defense coach--Seriously--??

No one said we needed a RB--it was just a random...should Steelers take Hunt based on his problems....
I hope Connor has a long, healthy, and successful running career with the Steelers...and let's see what Edmonds does this weekend--
Bell has had his problems since arriving--weed with Blount, suspensions, no training camp, show or no show...It's aTEAM sport--Selfish players not needed/wanted.

Adding to my earlier comment if it’s even in there mind to sign him they need to discard it we have a mix mash crazy locker room we just got rid of the problem of Bell show or no show we have our RB of the future in Conner his injury isn’t terrible. That money we have this off season should be into defense and that’s just what it is we need secondary help the pass rush is fine we lead the leapin sacks last year with 56 or 57

Off the field issues aside, we need to put that money into the defense. You can't win a superbowl with the defense the way it is. RB is not a position of need with all the other offensive pieces. It is difficult to watch their inability to stop offenses weekly and force turnovers.

Are you kidding? Only if they want to be active contributors to the NFL's problem with domestic violence. Period. However, even if you ignore that and take a strictly football perspective, I think signing a player with this kind of off-field character issue is the last thing the locker room needs right now. We just got over the Bell holdout and recently ditched Mike Mitchell. We don't need more negative, emotionally uncontrolled people on the team - we need more leaders.

Hunt would definitely help our offense but at what cost, hiring Hunt would destroy the STEELER WAY, I'm sure the other three incidents he had wouldn't matter, it's about winning, football and some other pro sports use to have honor, pride, well that's why I use to watch, the strategy, sportsmanship, it's gone..... money money money, yes I understand its a business and they deserve it but where's the honor or pride of earning that wage

This whole event whole mix up can be pushed or pulled in either direction but in my opinion also shout out to comment involving Ray rice very well put but I say Steelers shouldn’t sign him look past this event even look at James Conner a young beast that fought off cancer like he pushes off line backers we have all we need right now this is a contender im a Steelers fan but definitely not the right decision to sign him Conners injury isn’t severe and we don’t need any more egos in that locker room we just got rid of Bells ego that’s done but now we should have one focus .Bringing home that Lombarde trophy we have the talent we just need to put egos aside and focus on football Kareem is a young man he needs to find himself after this but I think he will be given a shot I don’t think The Steelers is the right place for him as me a fan of Steelers we don’t need anything right now focus on the roster not free agents we are contenders we have our Halfback we don’t need him colliding with Conner for that starter job last time we had two starting capable Halfbacks was Lagarrette Blount and Leveon Bell it lasts for a bit until it crumbles so no I think Kareem isn’t for The Steelers I think someone as the Seahawks the arch rival Ravens as much as it pains me to put this idea out there Ravens would be a good fit a team with a good Halfback but room to improve or even Seahawks take the load off Wilson a bit with a great receiving back and runner. Putting this out there I love football I play football in high school currently I love Pittsburgh with everything in me go to games once a year and I’m 14...I KNOW MY FOOTBALL ????

Ray Rice did the same thing--the video of Ray Rice was worse than the Hunt video. Ray Rice then married the woman--he also attended courses/classes to learn how to deal with his anger/not hitting women/domestic violence courses--I thought then, IMO, he deserved a 2nd chance. I think he would have been a great addition at the time to The Steelers run game. He was still young, his wife forgave him, he did his so called time--and sadly he was never given another chance in the NFL and he never made the news again for domestic violence or any other bad infraction. I say impressive, Mr. Rice. NFL teams lost out on him--he became a better person--Kudos! Michael Vick beat up on helpless animals. Mrs. Rice was not helpless, she had a voice. She was able to make choices--she chose to forgive Ray and marry him. They are still married. Good for them. Again, poor Vick dogs/animals--had no voice as they were beaten and killed--Vick, also lied about it, like Hunt lied to KC, yet Vick did his prison time, made amends, attended animal welfare classes, donated $ to animal causes--and he was given a 2nd chance in the NFL and is an analyst. Kareem Hunt deserves the same....Steelers fans got over the fact of Vick playing for the team--and might I add, I was not happy we chose him at the time, but....I let it go soon after he arrived and had more faith in him as a back up then some other Ben back ups--So, Mr. Hunt--learn your lesson, take classes, make amends, ask God, ask the woman, ask your friends/family, ask the fans, ask the NFL, and ASK yourself, to forgive your mistake (s) and never do it again. Make the choice to be the best you for the rest of your life--not some fantastic HOF moment--but that you never hit another person again, you learn, live, and move on--
I honestly think if any NFL team will take the time to talk with him--they would get a good idea if he is truly sorry & can base their decision on that--so go for it Steelers!

No! Just let the Patriots pick him up and hear about what a great decision it was and how they can give him the help he needs. Let's not act like da Steelers are winning anything. I'm sure everyone has done something they regret when they were young n dumb. Life is about second chances, but apparently the Steelers should be above that and some of you have fallen short somewhere unless your perfect. Yes! They should want the young man!

Don't really care how good a runner he is or what kind of young lady she is. Drunk or not the video shows him pushing her and then coming back in the video to kick her while she was laying on the floor. Do you really need this kind of player I say NO.
