Lady Gaga should have this part. Especially if there are any musical moments. She has Mediterranean heritage and clearly coming off the high that was A Star is Born, I think it just makes more sense.

The movie will unfortunately be a flop with Angelina. I think her reputation is truly damaged. I think she is fat to thin and anorexic. I think seeing someone new and fresh and exiting will clearly be a winner. Lady Gaga looks the part and clearly has proven she can hold a major role and has a Hugh fan base. People will go to the movies to see her. Someone totally new and fresh will be blockbuster if that is what you are looking for. I compare it to when Nicole Kidman first played some major roles and they were blockbuster and look how amazing her career is now. Choosing someone with poor reputation and poor fan base and Frankly just not new exciting is a major poor choice. Another is Marion cottilard.
