Some of you people do not realize how the NFL works!!!!! You have a cap. If you want a free agent linebacker, RT, DT, you have to get rid of people that are hurt all the time to free up cap space. Let him go along with Liuget , Perryman, Barksdale and you might have some cap space.

Even if he somehow manages to not get injured next season, who’s to say he’lol be as good as he looked that one year? Our team has been absolutely fine without him!

When healthy he’s probably the best corner in football he shut down antonio brown and he’s quick and fast he should be given another chance with the team if he wants to come back and he should come back be loyal to who drafted him

Jason can’t take the punishment and his best ball is gone. Denver took Roby after we took Varett he is a thousand times more productive. He’s a Raider fan and he will now have choices in free agency. He’ll get paid a lot by someone who will take a risk and that shouldn’t be the Chargers. That said, it’s a shame. He’s phenomenal when he’s healthy.

He has proven he is a very capable player when healthy. And the fact that he still wants to play after these injuries and has had the patience and perseverance to recover shows the commitment he has to the game! Great skills And great work ethic so yes!

Nobody is going to pay big money in free agency for him because of his health issues. Bring him back on a one year small deal and see if he can prove himself. No doubt a great guy and player, just needs to prove he can be healthy for one full season.

Yes, i LOVE Jason Verrett. I think bring him back on a 1yr/$1M deal. If he cant stay healthy, THEN cut him. He is a fan favorite and a good player.

Verrett has missed TWO AND A HALF of THREE possible NFL seasons. Let him go. He’s the Derrick Rose of football. No need to commit long term to someone who can get injured at any given moment.

Damn right you bring him back! You get him on a 1 year prove it deal, you need to. When he was healthy he was a top 5 arguably a top 3 corner in the league if not better. He was shutting people down before Chargers had a pass rush...healthy, he's a corner you would not want to play against, especially with Hayward, King, & James on the field. Lock him down!

give him one last chance.

I love him, but I think this is cut and dry. If he accepts a prove it deal, how do you not bring him back? Verrett is an incredible talent that has been robbed and depth is a problem. If he feels his accomplishments are deserving of more security, wish him well
