Unfortunately, when these kids get to the real world they will find out they are not as great as their families have been making them believe. Feel bad for our youth, but it’s our generation that did that to them by putting them up on a pedestal. They should be getting rewarded for treating people right not for a meaningless game of basketball.
If you look at all the stats, there are many other boys with stats better! Just sayin!
People know nothing about the players besides their stats for one game!!! Who comes on this poll and votes for someone they don’t know???? No one!!

A freshman who plays at the varsity level and still puts up great numbers clearly should be a contender. To say otherwise is disingenuous.
Aww ... somebody wasn't very popular in highschool...a person who is butthurt totally wouldn't take the time to complain about a small bias poll because their vote isn't winning...
It’s not called being a sore loser. We all know that the majority of these votes, if not all of them, are by people who know the player. I am not saying DJ isn’t a great player. I am just saying it’s about who can get the most people to vote for them.

DJ is a great kid and very intelligent player and very exciting to watch. I look forward to watching him grow on the court
Being that DJ is only a freshman and has worked very hard to hold a position on the varsity team and keep it, he continues to excel for every game! He's a hard working kid that wants to contribute his athleticism and leadership to put up wins for the Leo Lions! Keep up the great work buddy!!!
