Great blocker helps in the run game and protectimg #12 also a big threat in the pass game. Gronk type player...REAL DUA THREAT

I see where your coming from Grant but though we did have two line backers leave this offseason we had 2 even better ones come in. Not that I would have a problem with the packers picking Bush but I think the packers need more help at DL than at linebacker and I feel like Ed Oliver’s ceiling is to high to pass on at 12
Grant - 5 years ago
If Devin Bush is available at 12 I say we take him. We had two linebackers leave in the offseason (Jake Ryan and Antonio Morrison) Bush would be an immediate starter there and would greatly help our defense. I really like Darnell Savage at 30. Not only would he fill our need for a safety that is good in coverage, but he would also add a little boost to our special teams, which was horrible last season. I think it would be a waste to draft a wide receiver in the first round. We have more depth there than we do at positions like LB, TE, OL, S, Etc...

No way we pick DK at 12 I mean come Tom Brady tan the 3 cone drill faster than him and with Ed Oliver still on the board a guy who was widely considered to be the first overall pick last year you have to pick him. I think DK has potential but I don’t think he is worth anywhere near the risk at 12. Also I think many on the inside like our receivers more than the people on the outside. We already know Davante is one of the best in the league Geronimo looked like he was about to have a breakout year before his injury Valdes-Scantling was consistent and seemed to be on his way up and EQ showed many flashes were he looked great. You if Ed weren’t there I would go with Hockenson who is a very complete tight I would consider trading back to grab Jeffery Simmons who could be great and I still like everyone else at that spot other than DK and Jonah Williams who to me is overrated.

First of Metcalf has red flags. He can't run other routes besides seam routes from tape. If we want to take any reciever at 12 it should be A.J Brown. We can play him in the slot which is a position of need and keep MVS on the seam routes where he shined his rookie season. Now if we being realistic, they should go devin Bush if available for sure. I would even move up a bit to get him if he's available closer to the teens. At thirty I'm taking Darnell Savage all day, that man is a dang stud. If they opt not to get brown at twelve , im sure he will be available at 44(think that's our third pick), for us to get or move up to get him sense we have ten picks to play with.

Geno I agree.. we need a top tier WR. EQ and MVS are coming together but we need right now. DK then OL

I’m going to be as blunt as possible we only have 2 established receivers everyone else is still trying to make a name how perfect would metcalf be at 12 to be just a straight up go route runner until he learns more routes but we have Adams to handle all the cross routes and undercuts we have our RB Jones we would be unstoppable because either your going to double metcalf or Adams leaving multiple options open for Rodgers ... this whole taking a TE in the first round especially a blocking TE in hockenson would be foolish at 12 we have Lewis and graham whether others like it or not they’re solid players reason we never seen graham much is he was double teamed most times he was on the Field knowing he’s a pass catching TE opened the door for Adams having the year he did .. and if we don’t go Metcalf at 12 I highly suggest we do grab a OLB or ILB given the case we lost Jake Ryan , Nick Perry and Clay

Best tackle in the draft!!! 1 sack allowed in SEC last year and I don't think he will fall to No.12. But, if he does it's a no brainer... Jawaan Taylor

I really think we can address our defensive needs in the middle rounds. We need safety and an inside linebacker, maybe one more edge rusher for a rotational player. I don't think tight end is as big as a need as people assume. but with aging tight ends it wouldn't hurt to pick up Hockenson or Fant. But one should still be on the board at 30. I feel our largest need is at the wide out position. Yes our rookies showed promise last year but adding a large fast target for Aaron Rodgers wouldn't be a bad idea. With Cobb gone i feel like MVS amd EQ could fill the slot. Both can play outside also. I don't have too much faith in Gmo so we need someone who could line up opposite of Davante Adams. I don't know if Metcalf would be the answer but theres only one way to find out. Pick jim at 12!
