I follow the draft every year. Green Bay has shifted from BPA to drafting for need and I love it. To those liking Sweat over Gary. Sweat is lean through the legs and as I see it benefitted from 2 1st round talents around him. To the contrary Gary set up two 1st n 2nd round draft LB's. While Gary was getting doubled or chipped it freed up others. Figure in the upside put him next to ascending Kenny Clark apply pressure elsewhere... booyah.
As far as Savage go get the ball baby. Jenkins was predicted by many as a 1st ender. Steal. Keke steal good draft. Can t wait..

I spent 6 months reading about nearly every draft prospect and how they could fit on the Packers. If you think this was a bad draft you have no idea what you're talking about. Gary has more upside than any edge rusher in the entire draft and the only necessary ingredient for his reaching it was the proper scheme and great coaching - check. He has great intangibles and insane measurables. Every other pick is an A+ from a fit standpoint, they even killed the late round picks, although Ty Summers will need to stay healthy. Savage was my vote, he has the talent, physical attributes, and tenacity to change the entire defense, our version of Earl Thomas (who is also 5,10" btw). This class is insanely gifted physically, they will be a lot of fun to watch.

I'm a Toledo Rockets Alumni... Anytime a Rocket makes it to the NFL and is drafted, I celebrate... And the fact that the PACKERS drafted this guy = AWESOME!!!
He's going to be special. He is going to be a pro bowl caliber corner for the Pack!!! Extremely excited!!

ty summers imo is the biggest sleeper pick we had in the draft, guy has some major intangibles to work with with a major one being leadership. look to this guy becoming a huge piece to the GB defense. would not surprise me seeing him being the play caller on defense in 3 years.

I understand everyone's concern about Rashan Gary however,unlike Nick Perry who was a defensive end converting to a OLB, this is his position coming out of college so all he has to learn is the scheme.

As big Noter Dame fan and a even bigger Packer fan I love this pick...the Packers did right in this whole draft but this guy could be the steal of the draft as a 6th rounder
