Y’all are ignorant of you think he will not be an Improvement to the colts team. If given the chance Chad Kelly could even definitely take lucks spot easily. The boy has unseen amount of talent. Just wait an see how he has changed on and off the field. Everyone of you who bash and dought him or his talent will realize your ignorance..!!!!!

Maybe Chris Ballard should watch the movie invincible and listen to coach Vermeils wife and what she said For those you people that say he deserves a second chance well you’re wrong because he is way way way over the limit. I guess he has more than nine lives because he is Jim Kelly’s nephew And I am a cowboy fan

Bad move by organization. Listened how much time was spent on judging character and bringing in good people . I guess Mr. Ballard is not a man of his word. This guy was a problem everywhere he has been.

Low risk high reward type deal Ballard said he's big into giving second chances to players says their young and make mistakes Chad Kelley's off field issues seem to be a maturity problem that can be corrected. If not for these off field problems and injury senior year he would've likely been a first round pick based upon talent alone.Ballard has earned the benefit of the doubt.pce

I like it- wear out his arm over the summer, see if he stays humble in the shadows, if he messes up, cut him.

Gives him a second shot and gives some inexperienced WRs more reps for a low cost/ low risk.

If he stands for the anthem he gets a pass but apparently all his other off the field issues are a non issue. Sign KAP.

I am extremely disappointed in Chris Ballard and the Colts organization for signing and even bringing Chad Kelly in for a tryout. I lost a lot of respect for Chris Ballard after this move He preaches character character character apparently that’s not the truth Chris Ballard has passed up on many proven available players that have produced in the NFL Yet he signs someone who is unproven and has extremely poor character traits dating back to his high school days. Wondering why? Jim Kelly connection? I used to have tremendous respect for Mr. Ballard NOT ANY MORE.

It's simple. If he stays out of trouble his talent will bring wins to the team if he plays. Hes good. He is even better under pressure. He proved that at Ole Miss by beating Alabama and OSU in the sugar bowl.
